DRM Kraytonian Army Painting Diary

I am currently working on a Kraytonian Army for
Dark Realm Miniatures' (DRM) Seeds of War.
Seeds of War is a 6mm Sci-Fi mass combat rule set and setting.

21 August 2008 - More Arkiten Fighters

My air force is almost complete. I painted up another unit of Arkiten
fighers and I am going to get back into painting up some more infantry
next.

The air force so far:

19th August 2008 - Arkator Bombers

I am continuing to expand my air force while I am on a role and remember the paint scheme. First up is some Arkator Bombers and then some more Arkiten Fighters.

I opened up one of the Kraytonian heavy fliers to discover that it is
bigger than a Tau manta in Epic scale.

16th August 2008 - Arkiten Fighters

To round off the little scouting force that I have painted so far I thought
I would paint up some aerial support. My favourite flier in the DRM range
is the Arkiten Fighter. They have a cool futuristic design that for some reason
brings back fond memmories of roboteck.

13th August 2008 - Arkalest

Now that I have a few infantry units.

I decided it was time to try my had at some tanks.

I decided to paint up a unit of Arkalests first. They are cool miniatures
and are armed with the longest range weapon of the Kraytonian army the
Balest which can fire 50cm. Arkalests also have the heaviest armour of
all of the Kraytonian tanks.

So my whole army so far is looking like this.

One thing I love about 6mm gaming is how quickly you end up with a decent looking force.
I am only a few days into the project and already I have a decent looking skirmish force.
